Alain Dufraisse New Luxembourg office MD appointed by WTW

Dufraisse will answer to Elizabeth Carbonaro, the WTW CIMS regional lead for Western Europe, in this newly created position. Alain Dufraisse has been appointed managing director of WTW’s Captive and Insurance Management Solutions (CIMS) office in Luxembourg.

Over the course of a 30-year career, Dufraisse has held executive roles in prestigious insurance management companies like Barents Re and Aon as well as in several European countries like the Isle of Man, Luxembourg, Ireland, Gibraltar, and Malta.

Many insurance and reinsurance companies, including open market carriers, captives, and protected cell companies, have been set up, relocated, and managed under his direction.

He will report to Elizabeth Carbonaro, WTW CIMS regional lead for Western Europe, in this newly created position. Carbonaro stated that Dufraisse will strengthen the in-domicile leadership team in Luxembourg and that his appointment reflects the value WTW places on this significant European jurisdiction.
